Oklahoma Wildcatters Announce 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series Game Schedule

Riders (July 12) and 2024 PBR Teams Champion Austin Gamblers (July 13).

Their showdown with the Rattlers during their homestand will mark the first of four iterations of bull riding’s version of the Red River Showdown. In 2024, Texas won the series against Oklahoma, winning two of three games. This season, Oklahoma will also play Texas on Aug. 17 in Nashville, Tennessee, Aug. 7 in Anaheim, California, and Sept. 26 in Fort Worth, Texas, as the Wildcatters look to win the 2025 series.

The Wildcatters will also take on the Lone Star State’s Austin Gamblers four times as they look to establish Oklahoma as the premier bull riding state in the country, eager to dethrone the league’s reigning Champions and bring the world title to the Sooner State this October.  In addition to their game during Wildcatter Days, the Wildcatters will play the Gamblers on Aug. 16 in Nashville. Sept. 6 in Anaheim, and Sept. 28 in Fort Worth.

The Oklahoma Wildcatters compete under the leadership of Head Coach, two-time PBR World Champion and bull riding icon J.B. Mauney. During the team’s first season in the PBR Teams league, they had built a solid roster that included the likes of 2021 National Finals Rodeo (NFR) aggregate winner and 2024 NFR qualifier Josh Frost, surging young gun Cort McFadden, and Oklahoman Kase Hitt (Dickson).

Oklahoma will also return Eduardo Matos, who finished sixth in the 2024 PBR Teams MVP race and contributed 35% of the team’s points throughout the season, including a Wildcatter’s-best 92.5-point ride on Flyin’ Wired.

The Wildcatters welcomed the nine other teams for the 2024 season launch, hosting three days of unforgettable bull riding games at Paycom Center.

They launched their inaugural homestand with a commanding three-ride score defeat of the 2023 PBR Teams Champion Texas Rattlers and concluded their first-ever event by decisively beating the eventual 2024 PBR Teams Champion Austin Gamblers by two ride scores.

As the 2024 campaign progressed, the Wildcatters went 11-16-1 to conclude the regular-season No. 8 in the league.

The Oklahoma Wildcatters will host their second-annual PBR Wildcatter Days Camping World Team Series homestand on July 11-13 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at Paycom Center.

The bull riding action begins at 7:45 p.m. CT on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, and 1:45 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 13.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, and start at $28, taxes and fees not included. They can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com and PBR.com, at the Paycom Center Box Office, or by calling PBR customer service at (800) 732-1727.

Three-day ticket packages are available, offering fans a 15% discount on select price levels.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series:

The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five games leading to a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. During the 2025 season, the league’s fourth, each of the 10 teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; New York Mavericks of Long Island, NY; OK; Oklahoma Wildcatters of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Springfield, MO; and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX – will host a homestand. Neutral-site games in Anaheim, CA and Duluth, GA are planned as well.

PBR Teams, launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. In events staged in a tournament-style format, teams compete in head-to-head matchups against a different opponent each day. Each game features five riders per team squaring off against another team. Full team rosters are comprised of seven riders on the Protected Roster and five Reserve riders. The team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner of each game. Wins and losses at the conclusion of each team’s 35-game regular-season schedule determine seeding for the annual Championship Tournament in Las Vegas.  PBR events are broadcast on CBS Television Network and Paramount. PBR is a subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TKO), a premium sports and entertainment company.
